Have at long last taken first step in direction of Christmas. Late but not too late.
En route to chuck out the box of ancient newspaper from the shed, it dawned that I have wrapping paper on the shopping list. No longer. Chopped an ancient car sponge destined for the bin into a Christmas tree and a star, dipped sponges into ancient tubs of children's discarded paint, and applied to newspaper. Lo and Behold, I now have 27 sheets of completely free eco-friendly wrapping paper ... and no kitchen.
But I won't be needing a kitchen for another ... OMG ... I WILL need a kitchen in less than two weeks. And this is my kitchen.
